GETTING THE MOST FROM YOUR WORKOUT

One of the roles we serve as your personal trainer is to ensure you get the absolute most from your session.  There are many  tools that we use, one being heart rate monitoring.  Your heart rate  can be used to measure the intensity and progress of your workouts.  People new to working out will have an indicator if they are working  too hard,

or not hard enough.  Seasoned exercisers will benefit by measuring maximum heart rate on light and heavy training days.

You will never see The Fit Effect Trainers without their Polar Heart Rate monitors.  When both client and trainer are wearing Polar watches, your trainer can “read” your monitor and can adjust your workout accordingly.

Peanut Wonder is a spread with 85% less fat and 40% less calories. 

2.5 grams of fat versus 16 grams of fat found in traditional peanut butter.

Not a bad deal when you consider it tastes great!

We found Peanut Wonder at Walmart, but their website shows many supermarkets as distributors.

This month we will look at the muscles of the Upper Extremity.

 

Upper Extremity Muscles Defined:

Deltoid -  also referred to as “delts”.  Forms the rounded curve of your shoulder.

Biceps Brachii – also referred to as “biceps”.  Prominent muscle on the inside of each upper arm

Triceps Brachii – also referred to as “triceps”. Three-headed skeletal muscle that runs along the back of the upper arm.
