Exercise and Nutrition - What effect do you want?

The Fit Effect personal trainers play many roles in the client/trainer relationship.  We motivate, inspire, educate and coach all our clients to reach fitness levels once accepted as unattainable.

We all have different goals when it comes to our fitness and overall health.  But do you know how to get there?  Do you fully understand the exercises you are performing, their purpose, the ultimate results you can expect?  Do you understand how your diet can help or hinder you?  Once you partner with The Fit Effect, we will  get you there effectively and safely.  No matter what your goals are, The Fit Effect's expertise will put you on the fast track to success.

Choose “The Effect” program that best describes your fitness goals.

The Conditioned Effect
Improve your health, increase your strength, stamina and energy levels. This program is designed to make you feel better, look better and improve your self confidence.

The Lean Effect
Get muscle tone while losing body fat through nutrition, resistance training and cardio exercise.

The Muscle Effect
This program is design to get you stronger and put on lean muscle size.

The Sports Effect
Enhance strength, speed, balance.  Designed specify for athletes ready to excel in their sport.

Personal Training - How It Works
-Schedule your free body composition, fitness and nutrition assessment consultation. 

-Client and trainer will discuss goals and agree upon a plan of action.

-Scheduled workout sessions are agreed upon.

-Each session is one (1) hour.

-Once a week your progress will be evaluated with feedback and guidance from your Fit Effect personal trainer.  One tool we utilize to measure progress is a Body Composition Analyzer/Scale . This system is designed specifically for  healthcare and fitness providers.  The scale method of measurement is BIA (bio-electrical impedance analysis).  For an example of the readout given to clients, please click the thumbnail below:

The Fit Effect has only “the state of the art” fitness monitoring equipment, to track your progress, featuring our Tanita “top of the line” Bioelectrical Impedance Scale.

This scale gives us a “snap shot” of the inside of your body. The scale not only gives us your total body weight, but also measures your fat weight, muscle weight, water weight, body fat percentage, and your Basal Metabolic Rate.

The Basal Metabolic Rate tells us how many calories you burn at rest which aids us in determining how many calories you should consume based upon your fitness goals.  

Basically our philosophy is “If we don’t know what’s happening on the inside of your body, it’s pretty hard to help the outside”.

Nutrition

Included in every program are a nutritional intake evaluation and a meal plan consultation. Let’s face folks, “you are what you eat”.  We teach a healthy eating habit lifestyle outside of the gym that’s not too drastic, mostly just better food choices.  

Remember, a healthy nutritional lifestyle is 60 to 70% of the success of your fitness goals.
